A SPECIAL MESSAGE FROM ESTEBAN
It is with a heavy heart that I inform everyone that the winner of the 2006 Esteban Reviews Guitar Contest, Staff Sargeant Dustin Gould, died in Iraq on Friday, March 2, 2007, while trying to disarm a bomb to protect his platoon. I have no words to convey this loss of yet another young American, one who loved music and the guitar. I want everyone to know Dustin, how we came to know one another, and the depth and sincerity of this young man. You can read it all below. My deepest condolences to Dustin's family and everyone who knew and loved him. May his gentle spirit shine forever in the realm of the Divine.
